I am a dual certified marine mechanic and know these carb kits very well. This one is almost exactly what you need. The couple pieces I actually needed did not come in the kit(injector check valve etc). But overall the gaskets were correct and repaired the carb and the motor is back to purring away.

This kit had all the parts we needed to rebuild the carb on my 1997 mercury 8 hp motor. After the rebuild the motor is running great.

These gaskets do not perform and are not made of the same material as the Mercury OME set. I rebuilt my carb twice with this set and both times the fuel pump did not operate. I finally gave up and purchased a Mercury Quicksilver set. They are much more expensive, but the quality of the materials is well worth it. The carb worked like brand new. Save yourself a headache and buy the real gaskets. You'll only have to rebuild it once. This set is total garbage.

This is a really good kit but be careful, it took me several days of trying to figure out why the fuel pump wasn't working to realize the gasket that matched my old one had the wrong size fuel pump vacume hole. The one on the left is the new one and the hole lines up with the carb but not with the engine. Ended up using the original and everything works great. My engine was a Mariner 25hp 2 stroke.

Great for the price other wise. Not sure how long it will hold up diaphragm material appears to be thinner but got the boat running. Luckily I was able to reuse my needle and seat with some cleaning
