Everything in this kit fit up like the OEM parts and works great on my Husqvarna YTH 23V48 mower. Keep in mind that this kit does not include the pulleys for the belt (top of the spindles). Mine were shot, so I had to order those separately. So you may want to check those too before you order. Overall I am very pleased with the quality, fit and finish as well as the fact that the spindles have grease fittings, unlike the original factory parts. So with proper maintenance I expect these to outlast what the factory provided. I recommend this kit.

All of these spindles, Not just this supplier, come with double sided sealed bearings. They have minimum thin grease in them. The spindles have to be disassembled and the inner seals have to be removed so that the grease can make it into the bearings when you grease them with a grease gun. Before disassembly, be sure to note where the shaft sets after reassembly as seen in the last image where the pick is pointing. It takes more than 50 pumps from a grease gun to fill the cavity. I filled with bulk grease first.

I like the zerk grease fitting on top. I don't like the blade hold down washer, it is thick and flat, not cup shaped profile like the OEM. I just utilized my original blade bolt and washer. The old washer springs down to maintain holding force on the shaft. Flat washer has no spring action, thus may be subject to loosening. Recommend impact wrench be used to remove old spindle mounting bolts. Expect the spindle mounting bolts to twist in two. Fortunately, this kit provides mounting bolts.

The kit came with both spindles, the 3 mounting screws for each one, and I was surprised that it also came with the screw to hold the blades on. I cut about an acre and a half yard every week and have cut 4 times since installing them .. no problems so far. Wish I could grease them but it’s a sealed unit. Even if it lasts the season the price is a great deal. A+

This less expensive part vs what Husqvarna uses is equipped with a grease fitting!!!

I have had these for about a week now. They were easy to install, and so far they have held up well. My grass is on rocking ground, and there always seems to be new rocks popping up after it has rained. I also help out neighbors now and then. I try to keep the areas as free of rocks as possible but there are always surprises. So, far they have been holding up well.
