The clamps do their job as expected but I do prefer adjustable kind. The crimping tool seems like it’s from the bargain bin, very stiff, not adjustable, uncomfortable grip, etc. - no real value added by including with the kit, might as well buy a better one. The storage box is flimsy with dividers that don’t stay in place well if you need to transport the kit in a tool bag… my sample didn’t do well during delivery either, the clamps ended up mixed together with the dividers out of place. Overall the execution of a value added package fails, but the clamps do work - so 3-stars for the clamps but deduct 2-stars for the sad crimping tool and the weak storage container.

I got this kit of Hose Clamps as I needed to repair the air hose to my Chamberlain pull-down Garage Air Hose. Unfortunately, over time, it sprung a leak in the hose right where I grab to pull it down and activate the air compressor, so now the compressor just runs the entire time due to the leak. I picked up a couple of brass inserts to make sure I could repair the hose for good and needed these clamps to hold everything in place. They actually had the size I needed in the kit and the clamps are very sturdy and well made. Once I got everything in place and started to clamp the hose clamps down, I found the provided hose clamp pincher to be less than ideal, it's fairly generic and reminds me of something I would get at Harbor Freight. I actually grabbed another tool I had in my tool box and got the clamps seated and they were good to go. I tossed the box of clamps in my workbench storage and hope I won't have to use them anytime soon. Due to the lackluster clamp pincher, I had to knock a star off my review, I suggest you order a much higher quality one when you order these clamps, 4 Stars.

I got some hose barbs for a project that I was doing and they came with the single ear clamps but no tool to clamp them, so I set out looking for a crimping tool and came across this set and figured since I was getting the tool I might as well get a kit with more clamps...The tools is nothing great, it's definitely homeowner grade, but it gets the job done and I fully expect it to last me a long time since I don't do that many clamps at all...If you are looking for a clamp set and clamper for professional use this might not be what you are looking for, but if you are a hobbyist that might do a few dozen clamps a year this might be the perfect choice while keeping the cost low...
