Bought this starter for my 2013 Honda Civic and it made grinding noises upon cranking the car for months. I guess I got a bad one? Sucks that the manufacturer is not US based as I could not reach anyone for support with this item.Update: The seller reached out after seeing my review and still offered no assistance for this product. Not sure why they even messaged me. Take heed to the negative reviews before purchasing this product. I thought that because this part had so many good reviews that the part was guaranteed to work. I have now learned the hard way with purchasing certain car products on Amazon. Probably best to spend a little more and purchase from a local auto parts store than to risk getting a part from this seller or any Amazon seller and not getting a good customer service/warranty if the product fails.

Product so far hasn’t let me down although it’s been a couple weeks. It seems like it could be a trustworthy product based on previous reviews I’ve seen and including mine thus far had that unfortunate event occur where my starter went out on me while on my way back home from a weekend getaway Had to get my vehicle towed home. Luckily, I was only a couple miles down from my home.(wish I could’ve made it home before I was left stranded) was doing my research on my local auto parts stores and noticed they wanted anywhere from $220-$350 plus another $100-$150 for labor so I tried my luck and went on Amazon to see if I could find a better alternative and stable upon this product at a fraction of the cost and what won me over I guess you can say where the reviews which is one of the key points I look at before making any purchases his previous experiences from others, so I pulled the trigger and purchased it and had a little weekend job to do with a buddy of mine on installing it. Installation was moderate did come across a couple of hiccups along the way the manage to pull through and now my vehicle turns on first crank with ease so I would say it’s a good value for your money no odd sounds or a usual noises coming from starter I’ll keep you guys posted on any updates but so far it feels like a quality and durable product. It’s functionality is what it’s supposed to be.

Fit perfectly, easy to transfer OEM parts over. It’s been 4 months and it’s still starting. A great value for price.

Great fit on the 2012 Honda Civic. Just a big pain to change.

For the 2012 Civic it was hell to put it in the car. But it was worth it. Saved myself 300$.Year after, running smoothly.

I had this installed by a mechanic for about $160 and a tip, you'll understand the tip if you know where your starter is. Its been working well and I will try to update this review in a few months. But this does work and fit on a 2013 CIVIC LX COUPE as well
