I installed this on my EGR tube and when for a drive, within a few minutes I could smell something burning, luckily I had just stopped at a parking lot just a few miles down the road. I lifted the hood and found the heat shield smoldering, the Velcro had started to melt, this could’ve started a fire. You can see in the right side of the picture that the Velcro is completely melted away. Waste of $30.
