I don't know how these fall out, or how my truck lost one, but the tail gate rattling going down the road was driving me crazy. I ordered these and they screwed right it with a hex key. The came pre-loctited so I didn't have to add any myself and hopefully that will keep these from falling out like the ones on my Ford.
