So recently, when our brakes were going out, and as my husband was sick in the hospital for the bulk of the year unexpectedly (which resulted in the loss of 3/4 of our income), I was unable to pay for even simple and inexpensive breaks to be switched out on our car. so we did the only other thing we could in order to continue having a vehicle, we started using the emergency brake. I do not recommend this, and I had never done it before but I had also never needed to. It ended up being easier at hand, not as scary as I once thought that doing it, that way would be. Anyway, we had to use this method of breaking for a few months before we were able to finally replace our brakes. And as a result, it obviously has loosened up our emergency brake. So having found this was exactly what we needed. And when it arrived, it turned out to be exactly the part that we needed. Having looked over it before installing it, the mechanic said it looked to be a quality part, and everything was as it should be. So we couldn’t be more happy with it.

I recently purchased this pair of parking brake actuators for my 2015 Ford Fusion after the emergency brake light would not turn off (even though it was not engaged). I wasn’t sure what to expect, but was thrilled when I received them and replacing them solved the issue. If I didn’t know where they came from I would’ve thought they were OEM replacements. I am really pleased them and they were an exact match to what I was replacing. These saved me a lot of money.
