Used as the under hood light on a 1999 Corvette. It's the correct LED replacement and when it works, it's fantastic. But it's EXTREMELY temperamental. It's got to be touching the contacts in exactly the right place or it'll only be in a dim power save type of mode. A quick thump on the housing and it usually comes on. I've cleaned the contacts, adjusted the tension, and seen no improvement. Is what it is. It's there and I can make it work if I ever need it for real. Only docking one star because it a failure more of the mounting style but the bulb shouldn't be so contact sensitive either.

Due to location under the hood - it was hard to find suitable LED that would produce lots of light and fit perfectly into existing socket - the other LEDs would only produce light directionally to the right or left. This bulb is AWESOME! 360 degree light and produces perfect coverage for entire engine compartment!HIGHLY RECOMMEND! A+
