The Vietnam Tektites are part of the Indochinite strewnfield. These Tektites are among the rarer of the Indochinite Tektites from the mainland of Southeast Asia. Vietnam Tektites are similar to the specimens from other areas but they have differences in texture. The Vietnam Tektites may have some channeling, grooving, & other unique markings that is not seen as much in others from the countries nearby. The numbers of recovered specimens from Vietnam have never been as large as from other regions, making these more sought after and very attractive to collectors seeking specimens from as many locations as possible............................Tektite is a glassy object associated with Meteoric impacts. The word 'Tektite' is from the Greek tektos, meaning "molten". Tektites are formed when a large Meteorite strikes the Earth. More than 2000 years ago, the Chinese referred to Tektites as Inkstone of the Thundergod. Australian aborigines refer to them as Mabon, or 'magic' & believe that finding one brings good luck. In India, they are known as the Sacred Gem of Krishna. Meditation with a Tektite will increase telepathy. Carry Tektite for heightened psychic sensitivity, psychic travel, increase energy field, open & clear the lower chakras……. Metaphysical properties include financial prosperity, increased sales & profits, good luck, & new ideas.

Tektites are not ferrous metal. They are glass made on Earth as a result of a meteorite impact, hence the word impactite. They cannot be verified as real by a magnet test!!! They also are NOT heavy - glass is far less dense than nickel iron. A simple Google or AI search will verify this. The Indochinite piece I received is very nice and looks just like pieces at major museums and universities I've visited. I have no idea what energy anyone is referring to. It's a piece of glass like an old Coke bottle but black in color like Obsidian. Glass has no energy. It's not even from space. It's formed by the energy released during impact from a space meteorite. They are not meteorites themselves. Also see Libyan Desert Glass and Moldavite impactites. Be careful with the moldavites. Many are indeed fake green glass. The certificates of authenticity are just as fake.

Even better in person. Beautiful tektite. As the said it would be. Beautiful and you can feel the power.

It's a worthless rock. Magnets do not stick to it. The rock doesn't feel heavy than it looks. 2 simple tests you can do to tell if it's real or not.

You can feel the energy immediately when touching the stone. It is too thick in the center for the light to come through but the sides allow for it. It is authentic!

I've had a few tektites before, of unknown provenance. They were very nice specimens, but this one is special, and remarkable. Not only does it come from a notable and reclusive region (Tibet), the size shape and texture are pretty cool!
