I bought two of them. I usually use THK but they don't have stock short sizes like this rail. Out of the bag they were a bit rough. I separated the rail and block and shot some WD40 in there put them back together and cycled them. You can feel the rough balls going through the race. After a while it got a lot smoother and I cleaned the rails and put more WD in and worked it some more. They feel better but not Japanese level quality for sure. If you application uses plenty of power might work if you can overcome the occasional sticky feeling.

Slider has a different hole pattern than MGN7H which is fine but surprising.

Badly machined part. So stiff the carriage block requires considerable force to move. Avoid.

I am creating a RC prop test stand and needed a tiny linear rail that would allow the test stand to slide slightly and reduce resistance to get a more accurate thrust measurement. This little rail worked perfectly for that, was not to expensive and was easy to measure and implement, it also has almost no sliding resistence. This rail has the tiniest bit of wobble to it, which may not allow it to work with any very precise equipment, but it works perfect for what I needed it for.

In reading reviews on this product I noticed a few complaints over quality or stiffness. What I found is that I needed to apply a little pressure (to the sides and downward) as I slide the carriage along the track. I think it just needed to be worked in a little. I used this slide to create a Fixture for Durometer readings. So, it has had about 500 grams of weight in use and works just fine. For the price this is a pretty good value. In the old days all you could get would be something like a Berg brand and even now those are really pricey compared to this product. For general purpose use I would recommend this product.

Not the most precision part. A little stiff and sloppy. It is what it is though.
