I want to say right from the beginning of this review, that I purchased 6 of these Oracell Op Amps from a different vendor (this being before Amazon had them for sale) - purchasing them because of their ridiculously low price. I've tried them out now in 4 different class D amps, along with a few DAC's.Because I've used quite a few different Op Amps over the past few years - both discrete (more expensive) and IC-based - I can easily state that these Oracell Op Amps pale in comparison. When using them in all the components I listed above, they had a tendency to both alter the sound to the point that the output quality levels were quite dull and uninspiring, depending on the amplifier they were inserted into. At first I thought it must be my ears, and I triple checked all connections, etc. But the problem was still there. I even allowed the audio gear to stay on for up to a week (without turning them off), in order for the Oracell Op Amps to warm-up/break-in. But all to no avail, as the resultant sound was dull, uninspiring, and in one particular case (with the Aiyima A07), a bit dull and steely sounding.Again, having tried a variety of discrete Op Amps - all of which cost anywhere from 4x to 6x the cost of these Asian-made Oracell units - I can accurately state that the Oracell is a massive step down. In other words, you get what you pay for here. Like many folks, I used to always look for the least expensive option - after all, isn't that the logical thing to do for we bargain seekers? However, with the Oracells, the musical performances I listened to, became quite disappointing.
