I installed this on a 1969 Gibson Hummingbird. The factory jack was corroded and the factory pickup was extremely quiet and making some awful buzzing sounds.Replaced it with this and it sounds much clearer and louder. Running this through and acoustic preamp and then into a DI before my audio interface makes it perfect for recording. I'm sure it would sound better still with higher end components, but this will do just fine until I spend more money on a proper restoration.

I bought one and it didn't work. Returned it for another one and that one didn't work.

I used this to replace the pickup in my 1971 Ovation Balladeer. Sounds just as good as the original did before it went bad.
