It's a good value for the money. Replaced a Traxxas brand over priced junk servo with it. This one fit good and weighs more. So far is holding up well.

I use these on all my bashers and oval cars. They are far from protek and savox but definitely work well for my applicationI've had a couple of them for a year or more and still going strong

First off, if you plan on using this for any high-speed/precision stuff, such as racing or drifting, don’t botherHowever, if you plan on using it as a spare for slower vehicles, such as a brushed slash 4x4, or some other sort of basher/backyard car, it will work fineOn a crawler, it works just as well as any other budget servo, if you’re trying to save a little bit of money on a crawler and don’t need 120% performance all the time, it’ll work just fineIt worked great on everything I have except my high speed Traxxas, 4 Tec and my MST 2WD drift car, would also happen to be the ones with gyros, so maybe it just doesn’t like gyrosIf you just need a spare to get you back out on track real quick, it’s pretty good for the price, if you need something that will get you back to first place, look somewhere else, the Traxxas 2056 is faster and has the Traxxas name

Been an avid user of Savox for the past year, but having 2 boys and myself just getting back into the hobby it was getting very expensive to keep buying electronics for our cars.We tried the MG995 servos which died after a month.I have these 2 servos in my monster trucks and so far so good after a few outings.Going to be installing one in my son’s Team Associated B6D for our dirt race series to replace his aging servo.

Works great. Great price. Aluminum mid case is a plus. Steering arm is stout and tight clamping. Only issue is the connector is not keyed and wire colors are odd so took a little trial and error to get it hooked up the right way. Power lead is an inch or two short to go with exactly the same routing as original on the Traxxas TRX-4. You can stretch it a little and get it hooked up without an extension but an extension may be a good idea.

Servo has great torque for the price, and installed on the TRX4 with ease. I knew that I would need an extender for the servo cable, but I wanted that anyway in case I have to do a replacement at an event and don't want to open up the receiver box/waterproof cable entry.The metal servo horn works OK on the Trx4, I installed the link in the outer (24mm) hole, and after adjusting the limits, I have full steering without any interference in the arc of the horn. There is a however bit of binding against one of the rod ends and the bottom of the horn when the suspension is fully compressed. I choose to ignore this.The reason for 3 stars, is that the servo does not re-center well. I am constantly trying to trim the steering, but after another couple turns it is out of whack again. This is bearable on a slow vehicle like a rock crawler, but would simply be unusable on a fast vehicle like my Revo.I will eventually get a high quality servo to run full time and keep this as a low price, acceptable quality and decent torque back-up servo.*Update: I forgot to mention that I reused the horn screw from my original Traxxas servo, as it had a thread locker patch on the threads that this servo does not have.Also, I have not noticed any brown out issues using this servo without a BEC.
