I bought this item to help me clean my 72" mower deck & it helps out very nicely! with the angled chisel in my air powered hammer it gets the hard to scrape off residue on the deck much much easier than scraping by hand!!!

I wanted to take the time to put this item through some tough work before leaving my review. I initially purchased this item to remove ceramic tile. I was surprised at how easily this got the job done and how well it held up. The angled edge made easy work of the linoleum that was still under the tile. It was great at both peeling the linoleum up and breaking away the thinset and tile. I also used it to popular the tack boards from the carpet and easy it cleared 800 square feet of flooring with this tool.I also was able to use this tool to break up a 100 square foot section of cinder block wall. It made quick work of the task and was an instrumental part of removing the old regarding from the footers of the wall. The tool still hasn't failed, dulled, or given me a single problem!

I bought this to help remove some brick pavers in an 8 x 10 area and that worked pretty well. When I went to remove the thin set, it did a good job, was just not wide enough for the size of an area that I had to do, plus my compressor did not have enough capacity to keep up either. I ended up renting an electric 11 lb hammer with a 4 in wide bit to get the job done. Overall, this was a good bit and it did what I needed it to do.

Quick Delivery! Removed Thinset. Excellent Design. I removed tile with regular Air Hammer Chisel. But removed Thinset with this Tool. Even dull this tool with the Vibration of Air Hammer will Pulverize thinset. Easy to resharpen with Grinding Wheel. Word of Caution though. Seal room your Working on with Plastic Sheet, because dust will escape. Also do not run Air Condition or Heater in House. My Preference is to Moisen the Thinset to create less dust. This tool with then take out Thinset like Cornflakes. This tool is a must for thinset removal. Quality tool.!

I was skeptical of this chisel because it was not a name brand, but I trusted the reviewers for this chisel and believe me I was not disappointed. I paired this with an Ingersoll Rand Air Hammer to remove about 200 sq ft. of ceramic tiles and thinset. I found if I used the lowest setting on the air hammer with the chisel, I could get a lot of the tiles up in one piece. Some of the thinset was stubborn, but this chisel worked like a charm once I figured out the right angle and amount of force to apply of downward pressure. It did get dusty from the thinset, so some type of respirator/dust mask is essential. You will definitely need eye protection and hearing protection if you are doing a similar type of job. It would rain ceramic tiles if they broke apart, sending small pieces everywhere. I HIGHLY recommend this chisel. It is one piece and very well constructed!

I just finished removing about 1,000 Sq. Ft. of thinset off of concrete with this tool. I bought this tool after reading reviews of other similar tools breaking. I did have to re-sharpen the point a few times, but at least the tool did not break. Because of the curved design, flipping the blade over gave me a different angel of attack which helped the the real stubborn areas. I used plenty of water to soak the thinset and this kept the dust way down. Following up with more water and a hand scraper I was able to remove almost all traces of the thinset.
