Functions just like a more expensive stovetop. Multiple heat levels for more even temperature control. Great price and build quality. It fits almost flush, giving your countertop a modern look.

This unit looks better than you would expect for the money, has touch controls which makes for easy cleaning, heats up quickly, and even has a few extras. It has rounded corners which is great if you use it portably. I used a watt meter and the 600 and 1200 advertised are more like 760 and 1260. That could cause a problem with a 15 amp breaker. All in all a very nice and useful device. My only gripe, aside from the several comments pointing out that the manual leaves much to be desired, is that according the ad it would appear that the unit should use a set and fixed amount of power per setting. Plugged into a watt meter I got a different story. Power goes up to a certain wattage, remains there for a time based on the power setting, and then returns to the 1-2 watt range. This is not per the ad. If you need a more precise and repeatable unit, per the ad, you should check this out yourself and you may wish to use another unit.

This burner works well. The glass ceramic surface looks sleek and is relatively easy to clean, depending on what you're burning and spilling. Each burner works independently, with 9 power levels that let you go from simmering to boiling pretty quickly. The keep-warm function is handy if you’re juggling multiple dishes. It’s nice that it has safety features like a child lock and automatic shut-off—big plus if you have kids or just want peace of mind. That said, the burners aren’t super powerful (1000W and 600W), so it’s better for smaller meals or as a secondary cooktop rather than your main one, but it doesn't pull a lot of electricity, so good for older houses. This is perfect for small spaces, like apartments or RVs, and it’s ready to use out of the box since the plug is included. (Review is for 2 Burner Electric Cooktop, 12 Inch Electric Stove Top, Built-in Electric Cooktop with Sensor Touch Control, Timer & Child Lock Included, Keep Warm, 9 Power Levels, 1600W, 110V.)

I recently ordered this cooktop to use as an extra cooking surface in my kitchen during the busy holidays, and it's been a solid addition. The sleek black glass surface looks great and is easy to clean, which is a big plus. The two burners heat up quickly, and having nine power levels gives me good control over my cooking. The touch controls are responsive, and the built-in timer is handy for multitasking. I also appreciate the child lock feature for added safety. Overall, it's a compact and efficient cooktop that's been working well for my cooking needs.

If you're into cooking fish or deep frying, sometimes you just don't want those smells to linger so I will just do my cooking in the garage. Read the reviews - they're more useful than the manual. And once you get used to operation, it's much better than cooking on an old-school single burner. Worked great for our RV while camping too as wind doesn't affect these burners like it does our propane gas burner. Easy to clean and stored easily under our dinette bench.

So far, I’m pretty happy with this electric cooktop. I haven’t installed it, but it comes with the necessary equipment to do so if you want. I got mine for camping. It’s a pain to try to heat up things in a saucepan over a fire, or I’m running in and out of the RV trying to watch things cooking outside and inside. I also don’t like frying inside, as it’s smelly, even with vents on. So far I’ve used it to make stovetop Mac and cheese, and it works great. No problems getting water to boil, though I put a lid on the saucepan to get to a boil quicker. I’m not sure I’d ever use the timer buttons, but they work well. I’ve not been able to get the lock buttons to work. There’s a manual with it, and supposedly for this model, you have to push 3 buttons at once to lock. I tried that along with just the lock button, and nothing. At least, I’m not seeing or hearing any feedback that it worked, and I’m able to use it without unlocking. I don’t really care about that feature, but it should work. I personally would prefer the burners horizontal (side by side) instead of vertical (on top of the other), but I just rotate it. It makes the controls harder to read, but there’s no functionality issue. I’m unsure what the pause button is for, but I’m assuming it’s related to the timer. It doesn’t address it anywhere in the manual. I really like the keep warm button, but there’s a symbol associated with it I don’t understand, and isn’t in the manual again. It doesn’t cool down very fast at all, but it does flash the letter “H” so you know the burner is still hot. It goes away after the element is cool again. There’s 2 nice safety features, one to turn off the cooktop after a certain period of time being on, or if it has excessive heat, though what that temperature is, it doesn’t say. It mentions you shouldn’t use any pans with curved bottoms, but I don’t know that I’ve seen one with a 90 degree angle. All mine are curved somewhat, and seem to work fine. I will say, if you want to use this for something as large as a Dutch oven, it’s too big for even the largest burner. The biggest saucepan I can fit on the larger burner is a 4 qt saucepan. A little disappointing, since I prefer to use a Dutch oven for frying. I’ll just have to use a smaller one. I have mine sitting on my granite countertop right now, and I’ve had no heat transfer so far. I’ve had the larger burner on for about 15 minutes. I do have silicone I can put under it if necessary, but I think this is definitely a good feature. Great for home, camping, or YouTube cooking videos. Fir just under $100, I think this is excellent and would be a great addition for your cooking needs.
