On the third night of use it rolled smoke out from my engine compartment burnt out both bulbs and my projectors, color changing halos, and demon eyes . I build custom headlights and taillights ALL the time and have never had this happen THANKFULLY the factory headlamp harness was not harmed, NO I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS…

this product did not work on my 1997 toyota 4runner SR5. completed the diy retrofit projector headlights paired with H1 bulbs and tried to use these headlight adaptor but was a fail. returned/refunded. gave it 2 stars because i was able to return and receive refund.

Exactly what i needed to connect my led projectors like some other said the wires for the low beam where inverted so this is the reason for the 4 stars

First problem. This is wired wrong. Ground and low are reversed. Second problem. It does not switch to high beam. Both of mine are defective or they just didn't care to make it right. Third. It only supplies 6 volts to the high beam shutter.This should not be sold on Amazon. I am reporting it as a dangerous product.

To start off, it was cheap and shipped fast. My harnesses did not look like the one in the photo (the H4 side was much simpler and cheaper looking) and were wired incorrectly. The low beam and ground wires were reversed on both pieces so i had to pop the head off and flip it to where the black wire is (+) and red wire is (-). The item worked for my project but a note to the seller to please ensure the quality control is performed.
