Some of us still need to use a computer to make live presentations. And anyone who has done that knows the pain of having to stand in front of the computer screen pressing buttons or standing in front of the group and having to tell the person in front of the computer "Next slide please."This remote is like most: comes with a USB plug to communicate with the computer, features slide up and down buttons, full screen toggle. It offers a red led pinpoint beam, for pointing and calling out screen items. An on-off switch helps conserve battery power when not in use.The USB plug is double ended and includes both USB-C and conventional USB, which means it is ready for nearly any laptop, MAC or PC. And at a low price, it's much cheaper than the one I bought several years ago.Remotes like these should come standard with laptops. Until they do, this is a very good option.

I tested this as a presentation remote, and it worked well for controlling my Keynote presentation on my Macbook pro. Plug in the USB dongle, and it allows you to advance and rewind slides easily. There's also a laser pointer to help you point out things on screen.Additionally, if you're tired of working on your presentation, you can take a break and use the laser pointer as a cat toy. Plus, it uses 2 AAA instead of the button batteries in most cat toy laser pointers that are more expensive to replace. It's definitely more cost effective.
