This is a great idea and simple idea to hang lights outside. Very easy to assemble and very easy to put in the ground. It is sturdy enough for some of the toughest wind and rain storms. Comes with two poles that are 10 feet tall and brackets to anchor them to any post. Also includes I stuctions.

Purchased these to put around my garden…. I’m stoked to be able to stay out late into the evening when it’s cooler, tending to my garden. My only issue is/was they were a pain to assemble

I recently got this product for hanging backlights in my backyard and this works wonderfully. The spike in the bottom was easy to go into the soil and stand by itself.It came with clamps and screws and i was able to mount it to the fence with the screws and clamps.On the top it had 2 hanging hooks like C shape which was very useful to mount the lights. I like this product and works very well as string light hang

The poles are flimsy and bend easily. They don’t stay stable in the ground and are hard to assemble. Poor quality, not worth the money.

The package contains 2 pack outdoor string light poles together with accessories of 6 fence clips, screws and anchors. Each pole is divided into 7 portions with length of about 16.5 inches. They include the head, the base and 5 extendable tubes. The poles are made of iron metal tubes with black weather resistance coating. The tubes have 1 inch diameter which are sturdy and heavy duty.The package also comes with a specification sheet without any instruction on installation. If required, it may refer back the installation details in the product page on Amazon. In fact, the installation is easy. It simply screws to connect the portions and to add the middle extension tubes according to the required length. Because of the over-lapped screwing length at the joining junction of the tubes, the full length of the pole is less than 10 feet. Once the base is fully dipped into the soil, the pole has only about 8.25 feet tall above the ground.Each pole head has a claw to hold the string lights in place to prevent falling down. One pole head’s screwing portion can’t wholly be screwed on other poles after several attempts. Maybe its thread is not matched with other tubes’ threads. As the pole is only for hanging string lights which are not heavy, I don’t intend to request a replacement. Moreover, the base has cross-shaped spikes for punching into the soil and securely holds the pole in place. However, I noted that the spikes are also made from tubes and not solid metal. There are also exposed tube holes that probably have water in and accumulate rust.There is also another option of installation. If it is not appropriate to use the pole bases on concrete ground, the poles may be mounted on fences by the attached fence clips and screws.
