I like the length of these cables and they are high quality at a very good price. I am using the cables to extend where I can path in. No noise bleed or crackling when moving the cable around, just pure signal. The female end mates solid with my guitar cable without any play or give, just a secure fit.

These are excellent cables for adapting 1/4" sources to XLR inputs for professional sound applications. The sources can be either balanced (TRS), or unbalanced (TS), MONO signals.But don't try them with a stereo signal. If you send unbalanced stereo audio (such as a headphone output) into the female TRS jack and on to the XLR, you will get an out-of-phase hollow sound as the right and left channels cancel each other out.The only way these will work with a stereo signal is where the left and right outputs are on separate output jacks, and you use both cables to connect to separate input XLR connections (Mono x 2 = Stereo).But I suspect that these will be used mostly as an adapter to connect a musical instrument, or other mono audio source with a 1/4" output, to professional audio systems with XLR balanced inputs. For that application, they work perfectly, with no hum, buzz, or interference of any type.
