My old blade bolt was stripped and barely holding on. New bolt tightens up like when the saw was new.

These were an exact fit for my DeWalt miter saw my old bolts were rusted and worn out and these provided me with new bolts that work very well. These were an exact replacement at a great price.

As a woodworker who has been subcontracted to produce various woodworking products, I have learned the hard way that single points of failure are killers.When I saw these replacements for my DeWalt chop saw, I decided to get them so that if I needed to change the blade and dropped the bolt holding the blade on, I would have a replacement handy. Hopefully, I will never need to get one of these bolts from my DeWalt spare parts box, but if I do, I have them.I took off the 12-inch blade and the Rockler aftermarket laser cut marker and tried both bolts. Each worked fine with the cut marker installed. I successfully cut several pieces of wood. The bolts remained tight. (Remember, these bolts have the opposite thread than normal machine screws, meaning that turning the head left tightens it and turning right loosens it).It is my sincere hope that I will never have to purchase more, but, if necessary, I would purchase these again.
