We didn't have a larger enough order to place with our regular supplier (it's winter - our slow period) and we needed this for a customer as soon as possible. They fit and work just like the OEM and at a fraction of the cost. Air filters have one job - to filter the air going into the engine. So, yeah... these filters filter. Small Engine Shop recommended.

Got these for my JD zero turn mower. JD labeled products are super overpriced! Just one filter at our local JD store was 60+ dollars! The 2 pack of these filters is a deal! They fit snug but since they are new the foam filter is not compressed yet as it will during use. Good value!
