Ok, no clue how long this will last but it doesn’t have that cheap feel to it. Ordered for a 75hp Mariner 2-stroke to replace an original piece that was in 3 pieces. A couple of notes. You need to remove the slide rail for the slide to fit. There are a couple of retainers you need to pry away from the bolts then use a shallow 13mm socket. The upper and lower for the slide where the reverse control connects are best installed/removed if you have a ratcheting pivot 10mm. If you don’t, you are going to be at it a while tightening the lower nut. Remember to grease the slide and test before putting the cowl back on.If your bolt heads aren’t rounded this should take about 15 minutes, tops. Unfortunately someone had been in the engine and I had to get new bolts.
