I change the oil in my lawn tractor twice a year. It mows all summer and snow blows all winter. It is a great tractor for my use and would cost a fortune to replace. Maintenance is key to longevity. As the old mechanic says, "you can pay me small amounts today for the oil change, or a lot when your engine fails due to poor maintenance" I prefer to prevent, especially when it is this inexpensive than after a catastrophic failure.

I change the oil on my JD Z335E at the end of every season so this economical filter will do just fine. Unless you cut them open and actually inspect the construction and the paper element use, the weight and the outer appearance are the only clue if they are well built. I can tell you that this filter has substantial weight to it and the construction is first grade. So I am convinced this would get the oil filtered as it should without issue.
