The battery pack takes a watch battery and if left on, it will drain fairly quickly. Easy to install I used these for a 3d pri tes bar sign.

Works great.The pair illuminate a wall shelving unit I'll only turn on for special occasions. The battery works fine for me. I love the soft, light hue. Good adhesion.What I was looking for.

I put one of these light strips under my kitchen cabinets. I didn't want another random tiny light remote in my house to get lost. It takes two watch batteries per strip but it doesn't come with any. I prefer soft yellow lights in most of my home lighting, and I was surprised with how bright these lights are. They are not TOO bright, just brighter than my expectations. My under-microwave light was just a little too dim to make my coffee in the early morning, but this light strip is pretty much perfect. My only concern is replacing the batteries. Now that I've stuck the strip, I think the only way to replace the batteries is to hold the case in one hand up in the air and try desperately not to lose the itty bitty screws. For $10, I think I will buy them for my linen closet.
