I have big flashlights and they work perfect and grip tight holds them well. The gadget is well built.

The plastic that clams to the bar is too soft. Screwing it down tight just flexes and draws the 2 ends together without putting enough pressure on the part contacting the bar. As a result, the flashlight kept slipping. I even put more rubber thickeners inside the round part to no avail. The part that holds the light is great. Manufacturer should have used same thing for bar side. Bottom needs to be metal.

Rust is why I needed more. It is the best holder for 1.5” light. Just be sure to spray with silicone lube often

Clamp is good. If you like your flashlights to never have any scratches on them this is not for you lol. Clamp is good, holds even 26650 size lights nice and sturdy (in the clamp)Mount is I guess just ok if you don't ride any rough terrain. Mount lasted 2 small bumps in the lawn with a wf501b flashlight before the light fell forward pointing at the ground. I am a mtn biker tho and Michigan roads, sidewalks are horrible. This flashlight mount is no good for rough roads sidewalks, trails etc... Smooth pavement should be fine.Don't know how it will hold up to the elements. Especially the sun. It's very cheap plastic. Mount WILL break eventually if left out in the sun.Just a heads up4 stars if you are just a casual commuter. If you're crazy mtn biker like me, pass. 1 star. I am very aggressive cyclist. Hope this helps someone

First, this works as advertised.I bought this for my e-bike, easy install, first ride was on an unpaved rail trail (with a 2 mile+ tunnel). When you think you have it tight enough, after a few miles it droops over - got a couple more turns on the clamp screw and it was fine. Repeat. I came to the conclusion that the pad inside the clamp will keep compressing. Seems to be holding up fine at this point.

I wanted to see the thumb clamp open and close more than an 1/8" so I could regularly clamp something in and out. But it barely moves. I'll keep messing with it, maybe I can carve out the opening with a saw. I think you can only slip something through the opening right now and hope that the slight movement will be enough to clamp it.
