I picked up these sun shades for my car to keep the backseat cooler for my toddlers. They’re easy enough to install with the suction cups, and the twist-to-fold design is handy for storage—I can tuck them away in the glovebox when not in use. They do block some sunlight, which is nice, and the mesh lets my kid still peek out the window. But honestly, they’re not as great as I’d hoped. The suction cups lose grip after a day or two, especially in the heat, and I’m constantly repositioning them. Plus, they don’t block as much light as I expected—my car still gets pretty warm, and the UV protection feels overhyped. It’s an okay product for the price, but I might look for something sturdier next time.

The suction cups are completely worthless. Had to replace 1 of them with a white silicone replacement cup (see photo). Soaked them in hot water as directed, as soon as they cooled all went back to their various worthless shapes.The shade is so faint it literally does nothing to block sun

We were hoping this would provide more shade for our kid in back seat. Barely shades at all, too transparent. But does cover a nice chunk of the window. Also arrived missing a suction cup, so can only use one screen. I may try to double it up hoping it darkens.

The side window sun shades arrived with the suction cups already attached, but we're in the wrong direction. I re-inserted them after I tried to soften them up because 3 of them were folded in half toward the middle and the other one was folded out toward the back of it and they would not stick on the window. They never did soften up so that they would work. I tried to make the shades work by adding my own suction cups and damaged one of the shades in the process and the other shade works with the suction cups I added.
