If u have a dog that loves to chew and hates to walk this will break his habit of chewing leash...also use as a seat belt so he can get fresh out the car and not be able to jump out

Our younger dog chewed through 2 leashes. One extendable name brand leash gave way as we were crossing a street! Luckily the younger dog just kept walking with us as-if nothing happened.We bought these and they worked great. In fact, we only had to use them a few times because the dog quickly found that leash chewing was no longer fun, and she hasn’t chewed one since.

Broke within a week.. do not get if your dogs pull or are big.. I have two huskies and my 6 month old puppy broke the connection.. super hard to find a leash that works for walking two huskies … the quest continues.

I’ve got a puppy that chews absolutely everything. Trying to train her on a lead was a nightmare as she kept chewing on the canvas lead until it frayed and wouldn’t have restrained a butterfly let alone a 10kg boisterous bundle of chaos. These extensions have put paid to her antics 👍 one is on her new lead now and the other on a running line. She still chews them but she can’t destroy them so this product does what it’s supposed to.

I have a 7 month old Aussie who LOVES to chew thru end of her leashes. Started doing it at 3 months old. In a matter of 2 months I went thru THREE retractable leashes. Which aren't cheap lol ! I tried duct taping the end when she'd get thru a little bit of it. Tried knotting the end when shed get some of it. I tried using a harness so leash wouldn't be near her mouth. Nothing worked. She always managed to get it in mouth. My leash now, I bought because it had a twelve inch metal chain at the end of the fabric part. Ordered online so didn't know how heavy it was. Turned out, it was too heavy. Just wasn't a fun time. Would drag to ground any time she was close.Soooo after searching for an alternative for few days I FOUND THESE. Ordered immediately not expecting them to last honestly. Bought from THIS seller because U get two. So figured if she chews thru 1, I still have another 1. So we can get a while out of these LoL. I took the metal chain off and replaced it with this "cable."If you have ever had an Aussie, Heeler, Border Collie, ect... you KNOW as puppies they have a ton of energy. EVERYTHING is THE most exciting thing they have EVER done in their entire lives. When I take Nova🐾 out anywhere ( she comes everywhere, even to work w me.) But CANNOT chew thru it. She tries walking ME the first 2 mins. WHILE chewing on the end of this cable. Like "come on, lets go, lets goooo. Yr so slow !" Then zooms around in circles like a crazy freak for a minute....WITH the end of this cable in her mouth. I usually let her do her wierdo thing for 1-2 mins. Let her get it out of her system...then yell "Nova ! Cut the drama & slow yr freaking roll." ALL THOSE FEW MINUTES at the beginning of walks ADD UP lol. It's been weeks upon weeks of her biting at this thing and NOTHING has happened. Its still like new ! Granted she's only 35 pounds at this point.. but this thing is great.The retractable leash still functions like it should. Goes right to the metal clasp on end of cable amd stops. Length is perfect. Dog can't reach the fabric part of leash anymore at all. And seems very durable. It is made out of the exact same material as those leads ppl put outside with a metal stake in ground.*Added some photos so u can see the product on leash

Perfect for using on foster dogs that need a dragline to avoid escaping but also might chew leashes. Keeps dogs safe

I’ve lost several retractable leashes because my dog would chew the ends off. This thing has been a lifesaver! He does not chew it at all. It has a good quality build, it works as intended, retracts easily with the leash and has held up well. The cord is thick enough without being too heavy. It is not slippery & is comfortable enough to use as a collar on the end of the leash (which I do often). It has been a great purchase.
