These shirts are light weight. I bought them for my dog who sheds A LOT! I brush her every day and deshed weekly. These shirts help to contain the hair while she’s in the house! It’s made a big difference.

My golden retriever has spindle cell carcinoma. She has a very large tumor (baseball size) and growing. She currently is on hospice with daily wound care. But she is happy and active as she can be. These shirts fit her perfect, wash very well, and she doesn't lick the wound. Since she has always rolled and we don't want to stop her,, it keeps the wound from getting dirty making it easy to clean and I no longer have to wrap a bandage around her. I bought four of them. They are perfect because they are so light for her to wear in the summer.

They were way too thin and were too small even though I measured my dog and ordered accordingly.
