The signal still goes thru, I was able to open the doors, even with the fob inside the pouch. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM.

I purchased these for my sister and a neighbor. People are going to unusual lengths to steal cars and whatever we can do to protect them, we have to do. Just remember to put the key fab in the back section that is lined in the gold Faraday fabric and the connection is disabled. No complaints from me!

It appear to work really good.I can not crank or unlock my car while the key fob is in the bag.
