I got these for my kayak. I like the narrow profile and that it folds so it doesn't take up much space on board and there's a hole for attaching it to the boat. If it goes overboard it does float. If you regularly catch really large fish you might want to go with a one piece board but I usually go for panfish so it works for me.If you're fishing catch/photo/release tournaments keep in mind they usually require a specific type of board but if you're just measuring for yourself this should work great.

The 2 Pack Fish Measuring Board - Foldable Lightweight Fish Ruler is a foldable ruler that folded reads up to 16" and opened reads up to 32", AND takes up way less space in my bay boat compared to the 36" ruler that gets kicked around in the floor a lot while fishing. These rulers are light weight, durable, and accurate - although the 16" mark is a guess when fully opened, not that that is a deal breaker for me.For those confused by the item description - there are 2 of these rulers in a package, not 2 pieces that make up the 32 inch max.I have thoroughly enjoyed having these rulers, and since it came as 2 rulers, I can keep 1 in the bay boat, and 1 in the flat bottom for Crappie and river fishing.

This two pack of foldable measuring boards is a great addition to my fishing gear! The foldable measuring boards fold in half using a sturdy henge, making for Easy carry and storage. I actually carry Both of the measuring boards with me while fishing leaving them open on the ground while fishing from a bank or a boat. Since the boards are vivid yellow in color and have black colored lettering, it makes measuring quickly! The bright yellow color of the boards also makes them harder to leave behind while bank fishing as they’re easier to see in full sun or low light situations! The material the fishing boards are made out of is sturdy and plenty thick enough a given measuring board doesn’t have an issue remaining flat while weighing heavier fish. The measuring boards are Easy/Quick to clean with soap/water when ready for storage/carry. In my opinion this Two Pack of foldable measuring boards are priced very affordable, made well, would make for an Excellent Gift, and Def Worth Purchasing!

These measuring boards are great. I somehow missed it is a package of two so I was pleasantly surprised. They seem to be durable and should last years of use. I fish freshwater so I don't think I will be measuring many crabs. The fold out design is great though for larger fish. It folds down to be compact enough to not be too cumbersome in the boat. I like the hole in the end so I'm adding some cordage to it to hang it up and also keep it from falling out of the boat. The markings are super easy to see so I can quickly measure my crappie. For the price and quality it's a pretty good deal.

Nice folding ruler for fish measurement. It is calibrated in Imperial/ Metric units and it is plastic; making it easy to survive in wet environments. One of the things I like about it is that it is rigid. If you use a tape measure you need at least 3 hands to measure. With this being rigid, you can just place the ruler on a flat surface and hold the fish on the ruler to get the measurement. It is much faster than other methods of measuring, insuring the fishes survivability if you need to throw it back. It folds up to only occupy 16" in your gear pack. Generally a nice addition to my fishing gear.

I normally and frequently fish from my kayak in the Gulf of America. The inshore species I target--spotted sea trout, redfish, and snook--all have "slot" limits (15-19 inches, 18-27 inches, and 28-33 inches respectively), so unless I'm doing catch and release, being able to quickly, easily, and accurately measure the catch without undue harm to the non-keepers is very important to me.This bump board is an ideal tool for my fish-measuring purposes. It's great in a kayak because it takes up almost no room, and can be easily reached deployed when a fish is landed. The only drawback for this one would be if I land a very large snook. The slot is 28-33, but this tool goes only to 31 inches. However, that's not as much of an issue as it might seem. In the first place, "over-slot" snook are pretty rare in the areas I fish. If I do happen to catch one past 31 inches, and if it extends WAY past the 31-inch mark, then I would know visually that it's more than 33 inches. If it's close, then I could always deploy my folding carpenter's rule. Before I saw the listing for this Aoefykp bump board, I had put a different brand in my Amazon wish list. However, that brand costs almost $30 for just one (it does go to 36 inches, though). This one costs just $14.99 for two! That's a super bargain, and I have now deleted the other one from my wish list. The listing on the Amazon page says, "The bump board fishing ruler is hand-made, and there may be some errors during the installation process, but they should not exceed 2mm/0.1in at most." Knowing that fish and game agents are not noted for their sense of humor when it comes to enforcing the law, I therefore checked the markings with a tape rule, and found no discernible difference. The two I received are accurate.Convenient, accurate, and inexpensive; what's not to love?

These bump boards are nice in that they are very thing and don't take up a lot of space. I like the folding design, and the hole in the top so you can hang it from a nail or a lanyard. The measurements are in both inches and centimeters. The only thing I wish is that the end where you put the fish head had a foldable protrusion or that it stuck out more, because big fish can slide over this small lip on the end. I would say these are great for the measurement of smaller slot fish, especially something like crappie, but have the capability to measure an occasional larger fish. If you are regularly going to be measuring fish in the mid-20's up to 30 inches, I would honestly get a different bump board.
