I bought a large safe that wasn't specifically made for guns, and was able to easily add these magnetic racks to organize the guns and create more space inside the safe. A gun safe is usually carpeted and has a layer of drywall inside so these magnets might not work for that. The safe I bought is just a steel box so these stick right to the walls and work perfectly.

These work great to upgrade from the cheap original racks in and outside the safe. They stick to the metal well. Inside an insulated safe, you have to cut the magnetic strip with a box kinfe if you want it flush against the wall with using the tabs to hold it in place and apply small screws.

This is a great product and very well made. Just didn’t think about my ford truck being aluminum and the magnet not sticking to the side. Great product and is my fault for not thinking about that.

This product is nice enough. Foam is good quality. The magnets dont hold well if your safe has a fabric liner. I wanted to cut it into small pieces to maximize space and fit contour of each gun but magnets dont hold. I need to find better magnet strips now. Sigh. Best if you cut to length of your cabinet and wedge it in.

The magnet strip (s) are strong, keeping the smooth foam molded gun frames in place. Because these are free to be placed where needed they offer very good support to standing long guns and protection from damage to barrels and optics.

This product is almost perfect. The only thing missing is a kit designed to install in a felt lined safe. Ok had to install a small metal plate for the rack to magnetize too. Other than that simple and clean install works perfectly. I'm able to place the rack at whichever height I desire. Essentially if I really wanted too I can store 8 or so rifle/long guns if spaced out properly. Fits in my safe perfectly but Is easily adjustable if I needed. The magnet is fairly strong I don't have to reinforce. Overall great buy and if I need in safe storage again will for sure look into other products from same company.

I've now ordered a second set of these for my new cabinet. The plastic gun holders it came with were drilled for only a couple spots and were way too high for today's modern sporting rifles. Since the whole cabinet is metal, I bought these. I can place them at any height and on whatever side of the cabinet I want. This gives me a lot of versatility as my needs change, since making adjustments are as simple as sliding the rack up or down, etc. The magnets are strong and the full length of the rack so they don't move around on their own. If you want, you can even cut these down to specific sizes. I had to do this in my first cabinet since the rack was longer than the half side of the cabinet I had for long guns (the other side holding shelves of ammo). I ended up using the 4" remaining section higher up to accommodate a Mosin Nagant.
