I bought this for my aboral tarantula habitat, and was pleasantly surprised at how well the magnet holds through the acrylic walls.

Was a well made product. Magnets were strong and held everything in place with no slipping. The dish held water well. The dish is a little small but was fine for my jumping spider

This is the best food dish I've found. I needed something where I could remove the bowl but the shelf would stay put and this is exactly what I needed.

We got this for a jumping spider cage and it works great. The magnets are neodymium so they hold this tightly against the cage glass. You do need to be a little careful though because if you bump / push the outer most edge, it will just pop off (obviously). Your little critter should be fine and this should be used for smaller animals or insects. I think any rodents would be very bad as they will chew this up and easily knock it off.Our daughter has decorated this with a little moss around the edges and it makes this look that much nicer.Overall, it's a good little feeding dish that's easy to take out to clean and cane decorate it to match the rest of the cage if you want.

I recently purchased this product. It seems to be a good product overall, but I do have a few quibbles. The magnets are quite strong, and if you bump the cage, the whole thing falls down. Also, the dish is small, but it's perfect for my spider. The plastic is see-through so if poop gets on it it is rather hard to clean off.
