These hooks are a game changer for roof work. They are a great way to add some secure footholds to inspect and repair roof surfaces.I don't have any experience with competing products, but these seem to be good quality, although for asphalt shingle roofs I would prefer it if they had some larger and/or softer wheels, just to reduce the wear and tear on the shingle surfaces. As long as you are not using these frequently, in the same roof location over and over, I'm sure it will be fine, but it would be nice to not have to worry about it, which could be achieved with either larger or softer wheels.Regardless, these are a key accessory for safety, so don't hesitate to invest in keeping yourself healthy!

I recently had to do a small job on the edge of my room and am scared of heights. I got these to make it not so frightening. These were sturdy and I was able to do the job safely. The difference with and without them was very noticeable.

This kit uses wing nuts which isnt great since the pieces dont fit together well at all.They are just a hair short where you cant put them together easily. The metal seems to be well madeand would hold up to some use however the way its built its just a massive pain to put together especially with wing nuts. To get this to work I will need to break out the grinder and then re paint it so it doesn't rust, replace the wing nuts with actual bolts and tighten them down and hope for the best. But even as a Diyer that's not something I want to do for a product i bought to do a specific job. If you are okay with these details this may be the product for you but I feel like if you are paying for this kit and having to do work it might not be worth it.

I received this ladder hooks and done my roofing repairing project. I think this are strong enough to hold 500 lbs on roofing. Their wheels help your ladder move easily on the roofing. I would highly recommend it.

This is made from spring steel so it has alot of flex,,im 6ft 205lbs was on a roof with a 10/12 pitch.also had to postpone due to not being delivered on time.
