They screw in well, they're not noticeable, just good function.

I needed a new finial for my favorite lamp after a move. The color & style was perfect. But after the lamp was on for awhile, I tried to adjust it and burned my fingers on the finial. Not sure what type of metal is used, but it conducts heat! Be careful.

Don’t ask the size cause I don’t know! I was given to lamps & they didn’t have anything holding the shade on. So that’s why I ordered these & low & behold they fit. Yeehaw!!!!
