There are a few concerns with this two-pack of LED video lights with barn door diffusers by UNICUCP, but they are still a useful light set that offers what my other corded-only LED light does not, recharge-ability and portability. Still, that's not always the end-all be-all of a product, so I will start from the moment I took the light out of the box: Dead on arrival.Granted, it's not out of the ordinary to have a lithium battery rechargeable device that doesn't come fully charged. I was pretty sure that the advertising was indicating quick charge of this light, so long as you had a USB-C charger with a wattage of at least 20W. I personally had a charging block with 140W between a combined three USB-C ports, so more than enough to cover fast-charging.However, when initially plugging in the first LED light panel using the included USB-C cord (which had a sizable length to it, so that was good at least), it did not light up, and I actually thought I'd received a dud. I finally discovered that if you don't have all dials set to zero, then the light won't charge.. But this is not a perfect science. Sometimes it turns on, sometimes it doesn't. I found that fortunately, the second panel did turn on right away, but it still mirrored some of these same concerns.I don't even know what to say about it; devices like these should just work and start charging and light up when plugged in, but this first panel sure its time to charge up before it was actually useful in any scenario. And that simply would not be very convenient, especially when I need to depend on a portable light solution.Additionally, I do wish the brand had included some kind of ball head mount for the light as it increases flexibility, such as moving the light into various positions. It's actually kind of important to me as well, and its omission was glaring. That said, the very long 79 inch tripod stands are durable enough, and each comes with a mobile phone mount as well; all a welcome inclusion. All this said, I really do like these lights now that they are charged, so I will still give it 4 stars... but somewhat begrudgingly. They will only be useful for short periods of time depending on how long the advertised (and I admit, respectable) 4000 mAh (each) battery will actually keeps the light functioning. Hopefully for a while, but I will test further.Perhaps use experience may vary, but for me, this is not generally going to be the solution I had wanted for myself, as a fast-paced creative who needs to get work done on the go. But I will still use these at home.

We recently had a party with a photo booth and used these lights to improve some pretty bad lighting conditions with great results. The room was dim so I was able to add a nice warm lighting effect from the front that really helped us get some nice pictures just with everyone's cell phone cameras. The lights are bright, not bright enough to make a real difference if your room is well lit. They are perfect if you are in a dim room or in studio where are depending on auxiliary lighting to get the right look for your pics. You can select different temperatures and I had them running for well over an hour on batteries at full brightness with no issues. I plugged the lights in once the batteries were done and it charged up while operating at full brightness for hours. The legs are not bad, just be careful not to bend them when extending the base.Overall, I think these are great for home use and amateur photographers who are just getting started. The ability to dim or brighten the lights and have them running off batteries make they very versatile for when you are on the move, or when you are in a temporary room or studio.Happy to recommend, the carrying case is a nice bonus as it makes the kit very mobile.

These are battery powered lights and tripods that hold them. They charge while they are plugged in also which is nice. So if the power goes out you can keep using them. The Tripods and Legos a pretty lightweight, this is to be expected for an entry level light kit at this price. Im using these for both still shots for eBay and portraits as well. The light adjusts from warm to cool, and the brightness is adjustable as well.

This is not a bad kit . . . though it does look and feel very simple and basic with every part. You get the two light heads, two power supplies, two phone clamps, two light stands, and a very mediocre carrying case. The two light panels are the most interesting of the package . . . the rest leaves a bit to be desired. The panels are rechargeable, and as I have said in the past, the option of running an external battery on a unit like these would make them far more versatile and usable . . . but. They are well made but do look and feel bargain basement. Each panel has a display, and there are two knobs . . . one for intensity, and the other for temperature. Each has a well made and removeable set of barndoors which is a very welcome accessory . . . bravo on that one.The output is good, and they would serve well for kickers or fills, or for a very small and simple set if you are shooting a talking head for instance. Equally useful too, if you are shooting small product, but not if you are shooting anything with a highly reflective surface. The faces on the panels are frosted plastic, but not very heavily frosted, so the points of light (the leds) would stand out and be visible in a bottle reflection or if shooting something with a metal and mirror like surface. You could add a lot of diffusion, at the expense of the output. They should have had faces that were just a uniform white though. I have five other panels from various sources and they all have faces that do not show the leds. Not a major thing, nor a deal-breaker, but annoying nonetheless. The power supplies are . . . well, power supplies. The phone clamps have an extremely irritating mounting system to put on a stand . . . it works, but it is clumsy. Fitting it over the stand is . . . meh, then there is a cam like system of latching. It will grip tightly, but it is not something I am too fond of. I would have preferred a more run-of-the mill screw clamp set up . . . would have cost a bit extra, but much easier to use.The stands are okay. Can't hold a candle to anything from Matthews or Avenger, but then, they don't cost anywhere near those either. The build quality does seem quite good for an inexpensive stand though, and that is good. They have locking knobs on the risers! Yay! . . . lock levers are virtually worthless and I wish they were never invented . . . locking knobs are infinitely superior and reliable, so good for them with these stands. The case is okay. Looks and feels cheap. There is a semi padded pocket for each panel, and then open space for all the other bits. It is definitely only a carry out to the car/taxi . . . whatever. As for secure and safe transport in the rough and tumble world . . . no.For the price it is a good starter, weekend play kit . . . so I can't fault it there.

Love these lights…but they take awhile to charge fully. Also be careful of the extension cord and tripod stand. Can tip over and if barn doors are open and it goes to the ground the hinge will break off 😞 Still works but disappointed take it snapped off…suggest putting sand bags to avoid tipping over.

These make a great kit for someone starting photography or just something collapsible for a travelling photographer. Whether for hobby or for professionalism; these are so very helpful. You have full control over light colour ,intensity and direction. You can have a very smooth transition with a decently long battery life. Charging is also really easy. They can be used while plugged in as there are separate charging cords for both of them just as there are separate device holders. The tripod of these has a sturdy stature and protective caps for the threads which screw into the lights. The metal on the tripod’s legs is a bit thin and could be bent easily if you don’t fold them in a squatting motion. It was a little tricky for me at first because it was a different way than I was used to for folding up tripod legs. Overall is a really great deal. Well worth it~

These are super handy little fill lights at a good price. The lights feel like good quality, which is the most important thing, and the light is of a nice tone and true to description. They are adaptable and the barn doors help shape things a bit. The stands are the same lightweight design that comes with most non-premium brand stuff like this, but they're good enough to get the job done and I'm grateful not to pay more for something I already have plenty of. Good option for filming/shooting on a budget.
