I don't know if it is inside or outside diameter measurement, but mine were LESS than 30mm outside, so there is no way they are 33mm caps.I don't know if they sent the wrong caps, or what.But they don't fit my bottles, which are supposed to be 33m.ALTHOUGH, when I measure my existing caps, they look like 35mm or 36mm.So I don't know what's going on.

I've tried ordering replacement caps for amber 32oz bottles in the past only to have them not fit despite assurances they would. These fit perfectly and seal well.

Works perfect on the container I used it for. The cap on the container had a paper liner that soaks up the liquid and eventually starts to leak. This cap will prevent this.

I got these as replacement caps for my Kitchentoolz 32 oz amber Boston bottles. I broke the original cap by using too much force to remove the polycone insert for cleaning. Turns out a gentle pinch is all that is needed.I use the bottles to store photographic processing chemicals that are sensitive to light and oxygen, and therefore need to be kept in a dark, airtight bottle. These caps make an excellent seal that withstands air pressure variations and normal darkroom handling. This is better than the more common wax-paper seals that slowly allow air to creep in and tend to fall apart after months of exposure to harsh chemicals.

I was surprised filling my first half growler with using this lid and after a day with the growler 1/3 full of remaining beer the white poly seal insert came off and was in the neck of the growler. It was easy to get out an snap back in to the lid but I wonder why it popped off. I've had the same kind of lid on another half growler over a couple years, filled many times and never saw the plastic insert come off. Maybe the insert wasn't pushed all the way down when this lid was assembled?Anyway we'll see if more do this of the four.

Nice and sturdy, fit just as described! Nice airtight seal, I can even store the bottles full of liquid on their sides with no fear of leaking or seepage.Also, really nice company to work with!
