I needed to fix up a couple of old pendant lights, and these canopy kits worked perfectly. The brushed nickel finish is nice and clean, and the hanging rods were just the right length. Plus, having three in a pack meant I could fix more than one light at a time. Easy to install, and they look great. Definitely recommend if you're doing any light fixture replacements or DIY projects.

PROS: Came without any issues. The brass color is nice. It is brushed. All rods went together easily and you can barely see the connection.CONS: NoneCOMMENTS: I used these not to hang lights but to cover the cords on my sconce lights. It matched the burnished brass of my sconce pretty closely. The brass is not a bright color but a little darker. Love this and great quality. It cost me less to get these rods with the extras than it was to buy the rods by themselves.

I don’t know why, but it is really hard to find a downrod for a ceiling light — as opposed to a ceiling FAN and its much thicker rods, which are abundant on Amazon. Or when I did find a downrod, it was 18 inches or longer. These are perfect. I bought a beautiful, 8-globe Sputnik lamp and my wife helpfully stowed the mounting hardware for me. Only no one — including her — remembers where. This kit finally allowed me to install it in my office and face me three lengths from which to choose.PROs:(+) It is the proper diameter for ceiling LIGHTS and CHANDELIERS, not FANS. Yay!(+) The kit has everything you could need to mount a lamp of pretty much any description and even includes three different length bars that give you lots of options for pairing.(+) When I find the original hardware, it will probably guide me to the 75 Craftsman screwdrivers that my beloved wife has also stowed in the basement for me over the years.CONs:(-) It’s a bit expensive and increased the cost of my lamp by 30%.(-) There was no 1-pack available at the time I ordered, so I have more stuff for my “extra parts” drawer now.This is one of those products that you never think about until you really need it. So if you lost your chandelier mounting hardware, this should do this trick. I 100% recommend this product.
