They didn't come with directions so putting them together was a little frustrating. Once the stands were together, I thought they looked pretty, but wasn't thrilled with the materials. Seemed like they could've been made out of a but heavier duty metal. I really like the way the light shines through the design of the solar lanterns and reflects on the ground and walls, creating beautiful patterns. The stands seemed kinda lightweight at first, but proved to be strong & stable enough for small plants. I think the design of the stand could be a little better along with the seller including some kind of directions or picture so you know how to put these together. At first I wasn't sure about these, but at night they look really pretty and create a nice ambience so I ended up liking them.

These are absolutely stunning. The patterns on the wall are not as bright or encompass the surface area as the photos, but these are still gorgeous both in the daytime and the nighttime. They stay charged for quite a bit of time. The plant stand is quite sturdy and holds a good amount of weight. They're easy to put together. They lasted a rain and didn't rust, although I don't know how many more rains they will withstand before they rust. This is really gorgeous garden decor and even though they're expensive, they really are beautiful. Great housewarming gifts.

Love 'em! It is so nice to have this configuration, something aesthetically pleasing and functional beyond the normal solar lantern (which I love too).Light pattern (see pictures) is awesome and clear, light is bright and projects to floor. Lantern color is bronze-ish, shiny when new. Stand is black.Beautiful with and without the stand, but you have to choose one or the other...in other words you can't easily remove the lantern from the stand once assembled. There is no carrying handle like some solar lanterns, but that's because they're designed to mount to the stand. In fact, the lantern's base provides the 3-point anchoring to the top of the stand. Careful if you move it that you don't drop the black solar charger/switch. It's simply sitting in the top, it doesn't click in. Remove that before moving overall stand if you want to be safe. If you're satisfied with where you put the stand, just move the black solar charger to the sun, not the overall stand.Although there are lantern instructions for initial charging to maximize battery life......there were no instructions provided for stand assembly, so I recommend this, and you can reference the pictures:-build from the top (lantern) down. I tried the other way and had to backtrack and loosen on the first stand. Built second stand in 5 mins based on this improvement.-screw in 1 long pole each into base of lantern. Continue with next extender, also a long one. So now you have used all 6 of the long poles, making 3 extended poles made of two of the long poles each.-open plant shelf. Install hinge side DOWN so it doesn't risk folding in when there's a plant on it.-insert short leg into bottom of shelf, then screw into the base of one of the long legs coming from the lantern. Repeat until you've done that for all 3 legs. The assembly is complete.-check your connections by giving them a twist to tighten.-charge the black "hockey puck" looking solar charger/switch, then insert into top of lantern for the evening making sure the switch is set to On.Mine are stable.Note: there are 3 metal flaps the poles screw into at base of lantern and base of plant shelf. It helped to make the smallest bend in those using leverage of 1 segment of pole because otherwise those flanges orient parallel to shelf, but the poles have to splay out just a bit to get to the shelf whose mounting holes are spaced further from the center, like a tall pyramid. A little bend goes a long way, better to under do it than over do it. Don't want to break them.FYI: I haven't tested this, but lantern instructions say to have the switch set to On while solar charging.
