These tea strainers work very well Eve though the holes are very small. I like the smaller holes because very little tea gets into the cup. The downside is that it takes a little longer to steep. I am pleased with this purchase. They are nice and easy to clean.

What a lovely opportunity to mix up your own favorite brew of tea, then make yourself a cup or a pot. These are easy to fill, to brew and to clean. The little saucer is so handy, too - I was surprised I would like it so much. I love lavender-lemon-oolong tea. So guess what I'm doing next! Great gift idea for tea drinkers. PS. If you like a coffee press, you can substitute this strainer, and simply brew you cup or pot as you would tea.. and you can mix those up too', as in coffee w/shredded unsweetened coconut, or coffee w/ground cocoa, or coffee w/dried lemon peel.

I absolutely love these! I purchased the small set for single cups of tea. They are elegant and very well made. No problems with tea leaves getting into the tea. The little tray is the perfect size and adds to the charm of the set. I use about a teaspoon of loose-leaf tea at a time and the infuser sinks to the bottom of the cup perfectly. I let the leaves dry, then empty and rinse. Every so often I clean them with a small brush. I have recommended these to many people and no one has been disappointed.
