These reusable applicators allow you to apply and spread tire dressing in a thin even coat without any mess, or waste. They're more efficient than paper towels, or microfiber cloth and can be cleaned with water or buffer pad cleaner. Just replace the enclosed lid after cleaning and they'll be soft and clean for the next use.

I have a set of larger tire shine application pads that have grooves in them that are perfect for my 18 inch tires, I wanted these more for detailing the rubber trim that goes around the tire wells, bumper, etc. as they are the perfect size for smaller job such as that. These fit the bill perfectly, they appear to be of good quality and hopefully they will last.

I love the fact you don’t make a mess storing the applicator because you have a lid. The sponge does a good job on distributing the tire shine.

Functionality is fine and it gets the job done, but the handling could improve. The molding has sharp edges, and the plastic is light, making these feel cheaper than they should. They're made to be affordable, but it doesn't mean they have to feel like it when a few simple changes would make it feel significantly better in the hands. There isn't much room to grab the applicator, and the curve makes it awkward to hold securely with anything but my fingertips. It gets the job done, but don't expect a premium feeling experience.

Are these the best way to apply select tire shine? No. The plastic holders can rub along the tire if you push too hard and that can be a little difficult to avoid. Additionally if you have a large truck/SUV tire, these are not large enough to cover the entire surface. For a car with low profile tires, these work super well. Reusability is fairly good, I can probably get several months out of these. While they would not be my top choice (that would be the microfiber applicators you can get from any reputable brand), these do pretty well.
