Your cart is empty. How to install a band saw tires
1.Disassemble the wheel from the saw.
2.Remove the old tires and clean any debris and adhesive from the wheel.
3.Try to place a part of tire on the wheel and fix it by spring clamp, and then use another spring clamp to fix the tires on the other side, as symmetrically as you can.
4.Stretching the tire onto the wheel completely. You may need to use a pry tool to help the tire onto the wheel. Be sure to avoid sharp edges. Take down the spring clamps.
5.Even out the stretch. Do this by inserting a round object such as a dowel rod between the tire and the wheel and rotating it around the wheel a couple times.
6.Re-assemble your saw and set it up according to your saw's owner's manual.

The picture/description is a bit misleading. The picture shows 2 tires and then says 2 pack so one may think, as I did that I would be getting 2 packs of 2 tires. Nope, just 2 tires. That said, they fit great (but you need a third hand to get them on easily). So far so good, holds the blade correctly with no wandering once the band is set correctly.

These worked perfect for my older Delta 8" bandsaw which was so old it had the plastic glued to the metal with cork on top of that. The plastic base was chipping out everywhere and blade was very wobbly and vibrating. I dreaded installing new tires but it when quick and smooth.First thing I did was watch the tutorial video for installing urethane tires put out by Carter bandsaw company on YouTube. It uses 3 hand spring clamps to clamp the tire on the rim around as you work then the final stretch is a... stretch and the tire is on, just a matter of tidying up the edges to get a uniform bulge in center.Using the smallest Dasco pry bar I had, I chipped out all the old tire material which took the longest amount of time. The top wheel went very quickly but the bottom wheel I had to lay the saw on its side and had problems with the brush and door latch and table all being in the way and I didn't want to disassemble it further. I followed the same steps as I did for the top bar and had to work in smaller increments of "walking" the spring clamps around the tire where I had it finished compared to where I didn't and the last little bit I used the mini pry bar (maybe 14 gauge steel bent to a nail puller shape) as a tire iron and lifted it up and the urethane tire slipped off and onto the wheel. The entire process took under a half hour, and most of that time was chipping off old tire that was glued onto the wheels. These run very smooth and are wonderfully quiet and the blade tracks very ell after enuring tires are all the way into the groove and not peeking up in a spot that missed the quick check.

When I finally got them mounted, they were great! I read some reviews that said they were difficult to put on, one review suggested removing the wheels from the saw then slipping the tires on.How I did it! I soaked the bands in hot water, 140 F deg. (60 C deg.) for about 10 minutes to soften them. I left the wheels on the saw; this gave me some leverage to pull against. If I had taken them off, I would still have to secure them somehow. When I attempted to stretch them on the wheels, the half that was in place would slip off when I tried to stretch it on the other half. I ended up using to clamps to hold it in place on the wheel while I stretched the other half into place. The rubber will stretch but it takes a lot of muscle to do it. After seven or eight attempts I finally succeeded. Suffering only a skinned knuckle and two broken nails, I was happy with the end results. The bottom tire was put on after two attempts, made easier from the lessons learned on the upper wheel! Saw now works great! I would recommend these tires but be ready for a fight to get them on! Also be sure to clean the old tire parts for the wheel before installing the new tires!

These tires fit wheels VERY tight (which is what you want) yet have just barely enough extra stretch to put on wheels. No glue nessary, fast repair for my Delta 28-185 band saw. Tip- be sure remove wheels from band saw and fully clean them with denatured alchohol. Pull tires onto wheels then reinstall wheels on band saw.
