Update: I ordered a total of 4 motor speed controls, none of them do reverse for either of two fans. Generally the speed control is good, it runs my Max fan that fried the built-in controller. Unfortunately the controller refused to operate that fan in reverse but forward is used mostly so I kept the product.

It was easy to install and fit perfect in my 3D printed gear globe. Great value in the 2 pack, now I have an extra on hand. The reverse and speed functions as it should.

I got this to control a worm gear motor that I adapted to a telescope. The turn knob adjusts the motor speed and the switch controls forward and reverse. That really allows for good focusing of a telescope.

Works as replacement for faulty MaxxAir Maxfan manual switch, I would never recommend MaxxAir Maxfan for their poor quality and excessive expensive fan controls and poor service.

This controller worked well to add variable speed and reverse direction for my RV vent fan. Small unit fit easily inside the fan housing. Shaft of the speed control was a bit short and took some effort to attach through even the thin plastic housing of the fan. Rectangular hole for the reverse switch also took some effort. A round hole toggle switch would have been easier. I'm happy with the result, though! Cost was very reasonable for the added speed and direction functions.

I made a battery backup for ice fishing with DeWalt batteries low voltage cutoff and a regulator. Then used this as an on off switch/dimmer switch for the lighting
