Barely makes any sound. The sound it does make is raspy. Not what I wanted for my dog. Waste of money.

The whistle has absolutely no effect on either one of our dogs and even by adjusting the length of the whistle and changing the tone you cannot get the high pitch whistle that you need to get a dog's attention. It does emit a high enough pitched sound that the human ear cannot hear it but a dog can. In my opinion it's not worth the money but it's also not worth sending back
