This product looks great and is thick, but wouldn’t stay flat on the doors. I am supposing because it was rolled. I opened it flat the day before to remove curve, but obviously didn’t work. I even tried to install screws to hold it flush but it was impossible to get screws through the metal. Even tried drilling. Was going to try removing it to try something else, but it started peeling paint from the part that did stick. Now I have a mess in these exterior doors.

Only issue I had was my tin snips were dull so they wouldn't cut straight. Got a new pair and no problem cutting. Came in 2 rolls which I didn't like at 1st but made for less cutting and I was still able to take care of 2 doors and probably 1 more.

These are easier to install instead of them ones you screw onto the door. They just adhere using a sticky backing and it is pretty good hold.

This added a sense of elegance our door was def missing it's crazy how jus this can make a door instantly look like it costs a lot more than it actually did! Awesome value for what ur getting and took us less than 30 min to install!Highly recommend

They need to put some type of support on the inside so it firmer get damaged before or during shipping. It should’ve showed up in a circle but showed up egg shaped so it didn’t lay flat. I would send it back but i cut it and tried to make it work. If it was in good shape to be used I would’ve gave a higher rating. It’s a good looking kick plate.

Great product, read all the negative reviews, important infomation. The biggest issue is cutting and getting it flat on the door. I unrolled the roll which is enough to do 2 doors per roll. Lay it flat on the ground and weigh in down. Gently massage it as flat as possible, it has memory, so leave it weighted down over night. Next day take the weights off and again massage the ends, most of the length will be flat. Cutting is difficult, I happen to have tin snips, it was still slow and difficult, some rough edges. I gently hammered them out with a 3 lbs hammer. Looked great afterwards! Now it is still not perfectly flat, use masking tape to mark the edges of the door, pull back the plastic 4 or 5 inches covering the adhesive. Line it up before letting it stick. Once you have it level and the correct off set, place spring clamps/c-clamps on the edge. Pull of the rest of the of the plastic off slowly, massaging the air pockets out as you work across the surface. After working it tight and flat on the door, place two more clamps on this end of the door. Let in stay overnight, chevking every now and then for issues.

First off, you cannot cut this with scissors you cannot really cut it with tin snips. It bends it will not break straight I tried folding it in half and standing on it and I weigh 250 lb. So, seems to be a nice product but it is not easy to handle.
