These are very small. Would fit a toddler’s hands but would not be safe for that age. Also, this would only really work for toys not a real glockenspiel as you should not use wooden mallets.

These mallets would be ideal for use with a bell kit or small xylophone with metal tone bars. This would be a basic set of mallets, a step below one with a rubber head which may offer better tone and response. This would work though for practice or learning. In use with a 30 key bell kit, they produce clear distinct sound and are adequate for learning and practice. There are of course more professional constructions out there but these will absolutely do the job. The description recommends these for marimbas and xylophones as well. I would avoid these for anything with wooden tone bars opting instead for the proper yarn covered heads to avoid undue wear on the instruments.
