Removal of the old fixture from the mirror is the worst part of the job. Once the wire is back in the socket, line up the replacement fixture and press it in until the plastic pawls snap into place. The look of the new light is sleek and the smoke color is nicer (imo) than the original.

I like the dual lighting aspect. The amber flashes when the turn signals or emergency flashers are on. The white LED lights function as running lights. They look good and actually shed additional light to the right and left of the truck front end when lights are turned on. They both fit reasonably well into the mirror housing with one slightly elevated edge making it less than 100% perfect fit. But not a major issue. The connector fit perfectly from the replacement light to the plug in the housing. For the price, it was worth paying a bit more for shipping from the US.

The look great. Fairly easy to install. But: when the truck’s lights are on, both left and right sides have two rows of white LEDs. When the lights are off but the turn signals or flashers are on, both sides have a single row of amber flashing LEDs. But when the lights are on and the turn signals or flashers are activated, the left side has two rows of steady white and one row of flashing amber, and the right side has one row of flashing amber and no white lights. Why is that? What should it be?
