1. This fitting is made of brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability.

8. These Fittings contain Low Lead and are not allowed by federal law to be installed for potable water use in the USA.

I’ll start by saying these were cheaper than the others by a few dollars, so I lend some credit to that as I write this review. They are solid and appear to be quality enough metal, however the machining, while functional, is fairly rough. See photos. One came with very large slivers deep inside the fitting where it was not bored completely out. I had to go in and wiggle them back and forth for a minute to break them loose, leaving rough edges. Both have nicks and slivers/burrs in the threads. The threads are correct otherwise. I was able to get them clean enough to use. I’m hooking up an LP gas line using fuel approved thread tape, so it’s not a huge deal, but if I had intended to use these for drinking water or anything that draws through a pump, I would have hesitated, considering the ample loose metal shavings. They arrived very quickly. I will update my review to four stars if there are no further issues, but having to spend the extra time cleaning up a brand new product was probably not worth the two or three dollars I saved.Followup: Once cleaned up, the threads all worked perfectly for my application, which involved several different adapters. Now that the job is done and I’m a little less annoyed, they are worth the buy if you need to save a few bucks. I had no further trouble with them. Updated to four stars because so far they do a good job at lower cost, despite my initial impression.

Wanted to add a connection to a compressor on the unregulated side (for use with an external regulator and/or joining with another compressor) This fit the bill perfectly, was able to remove the pressure relive valve, attach it to the end of this and insert the set into where it was. Then just added a quick connect to the tee. Have been having no trouble with my 150 psi compressor. I did add sealing tape to the threads.DISCLAMER: I'm not claiming doing the same as me is safe, just that so far I haven't had an issue. Use caution, parts coming off with pressure behind them can cause serious damage or injury.
