These are pretty flimsy. They might be okay for writing on a notepad, but I wouldn't use them to hold a laptop or other equipment.

Arrived well packaged and in good order. Assembly is a bit tedious for having to try to secure the nut while screwing in from the opposite side. Seems sturdy once assembled and installed though. I especially appreciate that it includes the rack nuts and screws. Seems half the time when I get these extra shelves they assume you already have spare nuts and screws.

Not much to say about these. They're just sturdy shelves that give you extra storage space in your rack, be it a network/server rack or a media rack for audio equipment. Strong steel and standard mount points for cage nuts. Satisfied.

This two pack of 1U rack shelves from QiaoYoubang are well made and do the job in my server rack. The metal they used is high quality and thick. I've seen some shelves before made out of (what feels like) thin aluminum, but these shelves definitely are not built that way. I personally wouldn't trust them with 30 pounds of equipment each as the ad suggests, but I'd feel comfortable with 20 pounds no problem. 30 would probably work, but I'm not going to test it. To be fair, I don't know that any 1U shelf should be holding 30+ pounds on its own though..Installation was easy and you just need to put the rack ears on yourself. The price is also on par for what I've seen when I last looked for rack shelves online.

These shelves are an excellent addition to my 42U rack, though some assembly is required since they arrive flat-packed. I used them to relocate a few 1L PCs and small PoE switches, and they fit perfectly. The shelves offer versatile installation options: in one orientation, a lip helps secure items on the shelf from all sides, while in the other, you sacrifice 1U of space underneath but gain unobstructed access without the lip.The package includes all the necessary hardware for installation, including cage nuts and a small wrench. However, it doesn’t come with a screwdriver for assembly or installation, so make sure you have one on hand.Despite this minor inconvenience, I highly recommend these shelves for any 19-inch rack build. They are sturdy, functional, and a great value for the price.
