I heard good things about these pumice stones being good for cleaning horses. I figured I would try since the weather is colder and I can use the hose. I did not think they did much at all. I have better luck wit my regular brush. I do not recommend.

The pumice stone is great and was working on getting rid of dried off crud off the back of my horse (much better than a plastic or metal curry comb); however, the handle broke off after using it three times. I was using the stone dry--it did not touch water. I can still use the pumice stone because it really is working, but I was bummed the handle broke off. Maybe stronger glue between the handle and the pumice stone.

Nice thick pumice but the handles are worthless so loose they started to break off after the first real grooming. The pumice works it’s a just the handke is worthless.
