I like that it's very similar to traditional rice paddles and can stand on the counter in between scoops. We've even used it to scoop other kinds of food, veggies, pasta. However, we don't like to keep it out when not in use because it always looks like it's judging us. 🤷

My previous rice paddle melted in the dishwasher, and I absolutely love these as a replacement.They don’t actually suction to the counter (they stand really well though), but I didn’t need that as a feature so I don’t mind. They’re very sturdy.

The rice barely sticks to the spoon! And I the stand up feature is amazing, one less bowl to have to clean afterwards.

I love these! I used to always need to put a spoon rest/plate to keep the rice spatulas from touching the counter -- now no more! These rice spatulas stand up on their own so the spatula itself does not touch the counter. The handle is chubby so it can stand up on the counter (the handle is the leg) and it's comfortable to use. I will get more of these and get rid of my other less functional rice spoons. Highly recommended!

Love this rice scooper, the rice doesn’t stick onto the paddle, and the fact that it can stand, and the paddle remain free from touching any surface is something I was looking for in a new rice scooper.

The wife made fun of me for ordering this and it had a smiley face on it. Little did she know...We had to order a new rice scoop which sucks because we have had the same rice scoop for our rice scoop since we bought our rice cooker in 2010. It fell out of place in the dishwasher and was melted on the bottom. Sad day to just find a weird piece of plastic and realize what it was. I did a quick search on Amazon and this is one of the ones that came up...IT IS PERFECT.Rice does not stick to it, no matter what kind of rice I make. It stands up so you don't have to place it on top of the rice cooker (you know what I mean). And that is all you need from a rice scoop. I love it so much, I purchased a WHOLE BOX OF THESE for family for the holidays. I am going to be like the Oprah of rice scoops..."You get a rice scoop, you get a rice scoop...EVERYONE GETS A RICE SCOOP".
